Precast Beam
A precast beam is a structural load-bearing element used in reinforced concrete systems, manufactured in a controlled factory environment and installed on-site. Precast concrete beams are widely used in industrial facilities, bridge projects, parking structures, and large-span buildings.

Saypost Beam technology is a next-generation prefabricated girder system that combines steel and concrete using post-tensioning and pre-tensioning methods. Saypost Beams can be fully manufactured as precast girders in a factory, or the steel parts in the factory and concrete parts on-site, reducing transportation costs.

Saypost beams provide economical solutions for wide-span terraces, floors, mezzanine beams, and long floor cantilevers.

Floor beams with spans of 20–30–60 m can be easily achieved using Saypost Beam technology:

  • Wide spans can be crossed with low beam heights.
  • These spans can easily support heavy loads of 3–5–7 t/m².
  • Pre-tensioned precast beam technology allows beams to be manufactured as single-piece units.
  • Using post-tensioned floor beam technology, long beams can be produced in segments.
  • The produced segments can be easily transported to the assembly site and joined with bolts without the need for tower cranes or mobile cranes.
  • Saypost beams and floor concrete can be installed without any scaffolding, formwork, or temporary supports.
  • If needed, utility lines, electrical conduits, and sprinkler systems can pass through the Saypost beam sections.

Intermediate pedestrian bridges and floor precast beams can be designed with curved geometries.

Wide-span floors constructed with Saypost Beams provide high comfort in terms of vibration, sound, and thermal insulation.

Saypost Beams offer stronger fire resistance compared to conventional solutions.

Compared to heavy steel floor beams, they provide more economical solutions with lower beam heights.

Unlike precast or prefabricated beams, Saypost Beams do not require gusset plates or cantilevers for assembly and can be connected directly to the girder, allowing for aesthetic connections without loss of space.

Beam ends can be easily connected to the existing structural system as rigid, pinned, or sliding, and can be used with any type of seismic isolators, including elastomeric or spherical bearings.

The Saypost Beam technology, which allows wide spans to be achieved without intermediate columns, provides this capability in a cost-effective manner.

In every job that requires engineering and effort, we strive to do the undoable and reach the unattainable.
